After seeing great reviews on this place, I decided to take the 45-minute drive to check it out on a Thursday night. I got there at around 6:30pm and although the parking lot had quite a few cars in it, the restaurant itself was pretty empty. The bar was empty and there were only a table or two with people sitting. There is a take out counter as soon as you walk in. You can order take out there, or order your food there and sit and they will bring it to your table. You can also sit at the bar or the seated area and be served. I ended up ordering the sliced brisket, turkey, chili and spicy greens. (About $28) Everything was very good...but the spicy greens really stood out...like nothing I ever had before. The meal also came with cornbread, which was really good. There is a little condiment bar on the side with lots of sauces and other items including pickles, peppers, onions, pickled onions and cinnamon honey butter (for your cornbread of course). You are welcome to take whatever you like from there. I would love to return to try some other items. The space was very well-maintained and had some cool decor throughout. All staff I encountered, including and especially the bartender/server, were very friendly, helpful and efficient.

Great place! We always loved Sweet Lucy's & when my son got married during CoVid we postponed the celebration. We had Sweet Lucy's cater it in my backyard a year & a half later! They're easy to work with & it was a great experience. Staff & bartenders were so much fun, really nice & the food was, as always, amazing!!

Very cute atmosphere, the food is so good, and the wait was short considering it was busy in the restaurant, they have a condiment bar with onions and pickles and little odds and ends

Found this location while traveling for work. Walked in and the smell was great and it had a barn type feel being in the old factory and the exposed beams added to the down home country feel. The music playing in the area was a great mix. You have a choice of sit your self after ordering or a full service type of dinning. I did the order and sit myself. Sue behind the counter was great and explained the choices perfect to me. Thank you and a shout out to Sue. The food was as good as in the south. The flavor was great and very tender to where I just used my fork to cut the meat. I had the triple meat of chicken, pulled pork & sliced brisket. The sides I got the tomato & cucumber salad with my second of the baked beans. (Side note the beans could be a meal all on their own) I also had the corn bread and to me it was just ordinary. But that aside it was good as well. This place is a must and as I come back in the area this will be a regular stop for me and it should be for all as well. What a gem of a place I have found. I strongly would say in the city of brotherly love I was disappointed as a Cowboys fan with all the Eagles shirts. Just kidding.

Deff one of my favorite bbq joints in Philly! The food is always tasty and never disappoints. The portions are filling. There are so many sides & smoked meats to choose from! They now have a full service area which I've never sat in before but I don't mind ordering at the register and having the food brought out once it's ready. I believe they prioritize their eat in orders over take out so I'd suggest calling ahead for takeout or dinning in. Over the last few years the restaurant has had a few facelifts and they expanded their dinning area.

Not too many BBQ places in my area other than Mission BBQ. I don't travel to Philly for food often, but this place was recommend to me so I gave it a try. My boyfriend and I ordered a bunch of stuff to share since it was our first time there. We ordered Ribs, Sliced Beef Brisket, Mashed Sweet Potatoes, Creamy Cheesy Spinach, Spicy Collard Greens, Cajun eggs, and Homemade Cornbread. Everything was amazing. I would say a solid 8.5/10. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the cornbread. It's a little more sweet than what I'm used to. The inside is huge, lots of seating. I think they may have renovated recently because the decor was beautiful. (And the bathrooms were soo clean and pretty !!!!) I would say the only odd thing about this place is the seating. If you sit in a certain area, you have to order food yourself, which I do prefer, but the seating areas aren't specified so it's a bit confusing. Can't wait to try this place again!

"This place is so cute!" is what I said to my hubby like 10x during our first visit here! Both the interior design and how you order food is unlike other restaurants I've been to so far. As Asian Americans, we aren't particularly familiar with this kinda setting but it definitely won't be our last visit either! The staff there were beyond helpful and explained to us how things work here: You can order food from either the self-serve electronic touch screen or request the full server service. If you pick the self-ordering option, you can still sit in and eat and they bring the food when it's ready for you to your table. Food: They have sandwiches to platters to wings. Food was delicious as the meats were tender and juicy; not dry or over cooked. Would have to try their creamed spinach or bacon Brussels sprouts next time as they sold out of that when we visited 2pm on Wednesday. Their mashed potatoes in gravy was good. We ordered: Sliced Beef Brisket 1/2 Rack (ribs) Tangy Cucumber Tomato Salad Ghiradelli Triple Chocolate Brownie Mashed potatoes with gravy Homemade Cornbread Bourbon Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding There is a serve-serve condiments and sauce bar and beverage section after you buy soda. There's also self-serve water. Long ago: Monday nights all you can eat buffet (no longer available anymore) Other services: They also do catering and event hosting, I believe. They accept credit cards and mobile pay (works even though it didn't look like it). The place is extremely spacious and clean including the bathrooms. There's an attached complimentary parking lot.

Was craving bbq and decided to spot by this place for dinner. Don't let the pictures fool you, the portions are HUGE! I ordered double the fun thinking just one wasn't going to be enough food, but it most definitely was! I got the kielbasa and sliced beef brisket with spicy collared greens and mac and cheese for my sides. The brisket was a bit dry, but the bbq sauce made up for it. The sausage and sides were both great! But my favorite was the cornbread, delicious! Super moist and not dry at all! My partner got the salmon poboy and thought it was tasty. His sides (beans and mashed potatoes) were equally good. If I was to go again, I would order less food haha and get the mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, and cornbread! Overall, solid spot, great service, and good bbq.
